Ingredients
1 pound unsalted butter
Preparation
You need a shinny pan or pot like a Stainless steal. You need a light colored bottom so that you can see when the butter turns brown.
Put in the amount of butter you would like to brown I do ½ pound at one time, you can chop it up so it doesn’t take to long to melt.
With your burner on medium melt your butter stirring it with a whisk
Keep stirring it takes about 5-6 minutes you will see it steam and bubble when you see the bottom start to turn brown stir a little more.
Don’t let it get too dark because you will burn it.
It does start to smell like almonds.
Take it off the heat
Pour it into your container and take all the brown butter with a spatula
You can put it in your coffee on your steak or any meats.
